Free Webinar – Understanding Personal Learning Environments
Personal Learning Environments (PLEs) are a popular topic today, but are often described differently depending on whom you ask for a definition. According to the Educause Learning Initiative, Personal Learning Environments are the “tools, communities, and services that constitute the individual educational platforms learners use to direct their own learning and pursue educational goals” (2009).
A PLE puts students in charge of their own learning, encouraging them to select the tools and resources that help them learn best. By design, a PLE is created from self-direction, and therefore the responsibility for organization and learning, is an individual responsibility.
Join us for a free one-hour webinar discussing the pedagogy of PLEs, and how Campus Pack’s Personal Learning Space can be used at your institution as a hub for academic work, an e-portfolio, a personal development plan, and more. Click here to sign up!
