Home for the holidays — or home for good?

Recent college graduates used to come home for the holidays. But recently, more and more of them are coming home — and staying there.It seems the days of graduates finding jobs and moving away from home are disappearing. Here are the latest stats:
- A whopping 80% of college graduates are now living at home, according to a survey by collegegrad.com of more than 2,000 students.
- That number’s up from 57% of students who moved back home in 2004.
While the economy and a tightened job market have affected students choices’, does moving back into the nest egg hinder students’ ability to move on with their adult lives?
And should colleges being doing more to prepare students to live independently?
