Think you have a decent handle on students’ culinary preferences? This eclectic list may surprise you.

It may not have the impact of the “Best U.S. Colleges” reports — but here’s the latest report on “College Food Trends.”

Here are the top five items on a list is provided by Sodexo, a food distributor to college campuses:

  • Apricot-glazed turkey
  • Meatloaf with frizzle-friend onions
  • Vietnamese Pho (rice noodle soup)
  • Vegetarian lentil shepherd’s pie
  • Chicken adobo (Mexican stew with chilies)
