Attention students: Feeling confident about making good grades? Care to bet on it?
A venture with a website called Ultrinsic is letting students bet they’ll do well in a particular course.
That’s right: If you make the grade you bet on, you get paid. Miss your target? You lose.
The Ultrinsic option will be available to students at 36 schools this year. And it’s not illegal gambling, its president says, because it relies on skill rather than luck.
