Opinion Article Submission Guidelines
The editors of HigherEd Morning welcome your submission of short opinion pieces on a topic related to higher education. We’re looking for well-written articles you’d like to share with us and other readers. Articles should be no longer than 650 words. They must be original and submitted by the copyright holder.
The following terms and conditions apply to articles submitted to HigherEd Morning:
- The author warrants and represents that the submitted article is the creation of the author and that the author has full authority to agree to and satisfy these terms and conditions.
- The author represents and warrants that s/he has not infringed any copyright or other intellectual property right with respect to the submitted article.
- The author agrees to indemnify and hold harmless HigherEd Morning, its editors, owners, employees, officers and affiliates against any claims resulting from any and all copyright infringement claims arising from HigherEd Morning’s publication of the submitted article.
- The author agrees and understands that s/he will not be compensated, monetarily or otherwise, for any submitted article.
- The author agrees and understands that the editors of HigherEd Morning retain full discretion to decide whether a submitted article will be published.
- The author agrees to retain the copyright in the submitted article and to grant HigherEd Morning a non-exclusive right to publish the article on HigherEd Morning and/or related sites in perpetuity.
