Which universities are considered the brainiest? If you’re guessing Harvard or Yale, guess again.
Students chimed in to answer the question: Did your school make the cut?
Unigo, a popular college research portal, recently ranked the nation’s brainiest colleges, according to students’ perceptions.
Students gave the astute awards to:
10. Grinnell College (Iowa)
9. Sarah Lawrence College (Manhattan)
8. Hampshire College (Massachusetts)
7. Pitzer College (California)
6. Bennington College (Vermont)
5. Swarthmore College (Pennsylvania)
4. Whitman College (Washington)
3. University of Chicago (Illinois)
2. Wabash College (Indiana)
1. Reed College (Oregon)

I’d say St. John’s College, Annapolis/Santa Fe fits this bill. It’s very small, but I noticed that U. Chicago made the cut, and I think half of the faculty at St. John’s has some sort of affiliation with the university.

Who came up with this list? Forbes? LOL Where is Yale, Harvard, Hopkins, Columbia????
